Construction Industry Scheme

Major changes have taken place to the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).  These changes will mean the withdrawal of CIS Vouchers with a “phone checking” system introduced from 6^th April 2007. 

The introduction of MONTHLY instead of Annual Returns and increased fines for non-compliance are just two more of the changes. 

Many Sub Contractors will feel they are being “pushed” into becoming employees or having to set up Limited Companies.
